November 20, 2009, Newsletter Issue #150: Rules of the Road

Tip of the Week

The rules for getting married in Las Vegas are the same for U.S. and Non U.S. residents. If both the Bride and the Groom are over the age of 18, the only thing needed is proof of age. However, the country in which the bride or groom resides may require a marriage certificate. Check with the residing country for that information.

The following are things that are acceptable as proof of age:

- Drivers license or State issued identification

- Birth certificate (Non U.S. birth certificates must be translated to English and notarized)

- Military Identification

- Passport

- Resident Alien Card
